Excellent catfish dinner. I chose the all-you-can-eat dinner. It was 2 more than the regular catfish dinner. You can choose fried or grilled. I chose the grilled. You get three sides and a roll. Service was excellent, and so was the food. My total bill with an ice tea was 18.64 . This was the best stop that I just happened upon. It was next to a gas station that I had pulled into for a fill-up. The restaurant parking lot was full, so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did.
My first experience here was great!! Everyone was cheerful, patient, and kind! I had not had liver & onions in 30 years, and it was fantastic!! It was perfectly seasoned with good, sweet, fried onions, and I added a side of crispy bacon! My only regret is that I accidentally FORGOT to take my leftovers container!!! I will definitely return as soon as possible and as often as possible (even though it's a 20-minute drive)!!! It's an awesome, comfortable place to eat with a great variety of fantastic homestyle foods!!!
I love this restaurant. It's our regular go to. The fried catfish is the absolute best! It bursts with flavor and is always fresh. The wait staff is super friendly and take care of you every time!
Absolutely adore this place! It has been around for as long as I can remember for a reason!! Come hungry and always order the “all you can eat” meal. It’s worth it!! This is hands down the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. My favorite hush puppies. Excellent cat fish that will warm your soul. Then to top it all off they have blackberry cobbler which is so hard to find these days. You will feel the southern hospitality the entire time you’re visiting. Everyone is so sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re having the best experience.
FANTASTIC!! Was parked at the Sinclair next door ...Thought I would chk this place out. I knew before I even walked in it was gonna be good because of the kind of folks sitting inside plus, it was packed. Ordered the Chicken fried steak to go. Some of the best gravy I have ever had poured over a steak that was fork apart Perfect. Fabulous meal. My waitress was on point in spite of the full house. The elderly gentleman that rang up my meal said they had been there 45 years! I can totally see why. Give people a good meal for a good price. Will definitely make a point of stopping back in.
Ordered the shrimp dinner and roast beef dinner. Above all the sides were amazing. A great homestyle country diner. (Truckstop diner)
Food was yummy, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was delightful! Old times restaurant. Felt like I was a little girl again out with my family listening to the older folks talk. Such a wonderful experience!
Came in about 4pm on a Sunday, sit anywhere, waitress came right over, took my order promptly. Food was served quickly, had the catfish dinner which had to be the best catfish I've ever had in my 40 years on this earth. Highly recommend!
